Ill try to keep this short.... I had an unfortunate incident involving a red oak, my pass. side tire took most of it... thus deforming my LCA bracket axle side... My problem is this... the shop i asked to look at it is giving me a hard time... like they dont know how to weld LOL.... If anyone out there in the Worcester South or Webster area knows of a reasonable but capable place to have my work done, i would appreciate some recomendations....

I also have some electrical greamlins, but i dont have time for that...

Thanks for thaking the time to read.......
.......any replies appreciated

It might be cheaper/easier to get a complete junkyard axle to swap in. As long as the body side brackets are ok it could be a wrenching project instead of a welding one.

Are you willing to go as far as Woonsocket, RI?

Call Charlie at C&N Auto. I don't have the phone number handy but if you can't find it I might be able to track it down.

I bent the crap outa my lower control arm mount, i bought the weld on replacements from Currie, they are pretty nice

I pulled the entire axle out so it would be eaiser to weld,

all you gotta do is pull your axle out, use an angle and die grinder to cut the old mounts off, then find someone with a welder to weld on the new ones

if you do all the prep work yourself, i am sure someone on here with a welder could weld the brackets on in under an hour

thanx for the help... im gonna try to convince the shop its at now to weld on new ones for me... they just dont seem to understand that this happens all the time... and is really a simple fix

the big thing is its not registerd... otherwise i'd just drive to woonsocket, im only in webster ma... id really like to aviod another transport fee...

Ill check back sooner next time

thanx everyone
