The truck has to be drivable, but it doesn't need to be perfect. I don't care much about the paint but I'd like as straight of a body as possible... I hate body work.
On the 7.3, I'd prefer a 96 or newer but I wouldn't turn down an older one (older one = earlier Powerstroke, I'm not interested in IDI engines). I don't care if the trans is auto or manual, ZF-5 or -6. The more complete this all is, the better (wiring harness, t-case, fuel system, etc).

Best way to contact me is through PM.
Thanks,
M

P.S. I'm new to the area, sorry to make this my first post in the Chapter but internet accessability kinda sucks where I am currently. I'll be on more when I get back from the 'Stan.

I know all about the 'Stan connectivity. I will keep a look out for you, although you may have to drive to Alabama to get it. There is a guy down the road from me that has a 76 F100(?) with no motor and its light blue. LMK if your interested, Ill check it out for you.

I have a very complete 97 7.3 with 250K on it and a rebuilt ZF-5 with 25K on it. It is so complete that it comes with an extended cab, long bed, 4x4 all around it. Only $9K for the motor and transmission. I'll throw in the rest of the ford parts I have for free.

Highspeed, if that guy really wants it gone and doesn't mind waiting, I should be getting a few 4-days in the coming weeks after I get home.

'Vettes, I appreciate the offer, but I have neither the use, nor the funds, nor the room for a complete truck. All I really need is the engine, trans and electronics.

Getting closer to home, still haven't found much in the area. Plenty back in CO, but if I can avoid having to drive/transport halfway across the country that'd be nice. Anybody seen anything around?
