looking at a 2004 1500 4.8l

I'm looking at a 2004 Silverado 1500 4x4 with the 4.8L V8 with 130k miles. I was wondering any common problems specific to the 4.8l and to the vehicle its self. I searched and found the AC goes out and that is the only thing that I could find. Does anybody have one with some input or know of anyone that has one? they are asking 9000 for it. What do yall think?

I drove a 2003 5.3 equipped 1500. It was nice, I definitely wouldn't mind having one for driving. The 4.8 should be the same basic engine, just a smaller bore.
