Any long arm can be made 'stock' compatible by using stock rubber bushing craddles. I've got Drop brackets and they work just fine... I'm now interested in doing a 3 link. If you get the frame mounts high enough up into the frame rail then you won't have any loss of ground clearance. But for what I do (no rocks) - 2" of lost ground clearance isn't going to hurt me... Especially since theres like 3 ft of clearance under the thing.yossarian19 said:Please, somebody correct me if I am wrong - but the RE brackets are 1/4" thick and not likely to go anywhere. Additionally, long arms have to be mounted somewhere on the frame rail, correct? So wouldn't you lose clearance there, too - only worse since it is further from the front tires?
Based on what I know, I'd go with RE drop brackets & braces. Cheap, restore ride quality, gojeep runs em and hasn't any complaints, and parts for control arms are easier to find if they are stock compatible.
Edit: Plus what he said ^^^
