I have had it for a couple of weeks but coaching football has kept me busy. I just got a chance to paint it up and put it on today. I also added my $50 Warn XD9000i winch as well.
My first impression of the bumper is its a good balance of a strong winch box with the weight savings of 1/8 steel on the rest of the bumper skin which is fine with me. I have been bumper-less for 3 years so I have gotten use to taking it easy around obstacles. The bumper weighs around 80#. The 1/4" mounts extend all the way back to the furthest most frame hole with 6 grade 8's on each side (you supply the hardware) and 5 grade 8 1/2"-13 bolts holding the bumper to the mount. The fit was perfect and the finish of the "raw steel" was smooth and needed no further finishing. It was well worth the money and LMP's service was great. I drilled it out for the lights and also made my own center CB antenna mount. I bought the winch from a fellow local wheeler who bought it new but had troubles with it each time he used it. It turns out there was a bad connection at one of the terminals inside the motor case. I repaired that and it works great. I have not winched with this set-up yet. If there are any issues I will post them up.
