fuel pressure was one of the latest things i fixed.
MAP sensors are ok, but i'm replacing them soon anyways.

normal. i have a pressure ... checker thingy. lol.
it read out as normal.

lol. yeah. had to take out the fuel pump inside the tank and clean it and then reposition it correctly afterwards. somebody had tooken it out in the past and left it on loose which lead to gunk to find its way in and mess up the pressure.

ummmm...might think about dropping some Mustang injectors in then. If all that mud that you keep on that poor XJ got into the fuel system it coulda clogged 1 or more injectors.

no, i checked after i got my head back. theyre fine for now. i only got it muddy twice anyways.

Did you lose your head? Was it stolen? Where did you find it? Or was it returned to you?

check all your wires, like your distributor and what not.

Wires and Dizzy shouldn't prevent it from passing 2K revs though should they? I've never had that experience. I suppose anything is possible though...

I'm still thinking MAP or MAF sensor (do XJ's have MAF sensors? it's been ages since I've done motor work on a 4.0L)

About the dis. It has two things wrong with it. It either is the wrong dis. because somebody stole my OEM, or somebody stole my dis. cable and put another one on that does not fit. But that wouldn't prevent me from going over 2k rev.

No I don't have MAF sensors, I have MAP sensors. As for the rest of the wiring, it needs to be redone.
