Interesting ride around Midnight last night, seems PENDOT figured to just stop plowing the TP, pretty much a single lane to get home. Local roads were worse, stranded cars and deep snow.

My 33x10's cut through the snow with less "floating" around like my 12.5's used to do. Could be the snow itself too, fine dry powder with no moisture.

Guess we got the 18" as forcasted.

Happy Snow Day everyone...

We got just under a foor here. Just got the driveway dug out. Was a real nice fine powder, much easier to shovel than the last snow we got.

Now the winds are picking up, hoping it does not blow the powder back on to the driveway.

umm... maybe? i think they're oem length though.

I just went and picked my mom up from work. Now I know why I didn't go out at all today or most of last night, everyone in my town IS AN IDIOT!

I saw people driving lowered rice burners, and people going super speed passing me. When you see a huge lifted Jeep, and they are driving SLOW, don't you think something is wrong when your stupid little two wheel drive sedan is passing them?

Decided not to go out today. While clearing the drive I saw a Wrangler spinning his rears like a top fuel dragster and doing a Tokyo Rift impression down the street into a snow bank. Then have to get yanked out by a Ford. I figured with idiots like that out and about....I'll hang at home for a while.

Well we got 27" here in eastern long island...... was out all night plowin with my buddy... then took the heep out and had some fun on the unplowed roads..... main hi ways had to be plowed by payloaders because plows couldnt push it.... wild storm pics later

UTAH?!! Whatcha talkin bout?!
Moving out to Utah for school in a little more than a week.

Hey Alex, were you driving east on 6A this morning around 10?
yep. i was heading to get pick up some PIAA and Hella 3000s mint condition for 80 bucks.

Agreed. I couldn't believe the amount of hondas and prius's on the road today. Town didn't do a very good job plowing but it's a sunday and with the economy im not surprised.

Sandy Neck was a bit rough today

We got just a bit over a foot here. I was trying to take pics of the XJ, but some kid kept getting in the way.

I took the XJ out a couple of times on Saturday and then again early Sunday morning. I was really impressed with how well a stock XJ does in the snow. And believe it or not, the factory LSD is REALLY nice in the rear.

The MJ was staying nice and warm in the garage.

we got about 18-20 inches up here in stoughton and people drive like idiots so I stayed home sunday most of the day then went to norton to help my girls father shovel....people suck at driving is my thought of the day.

Made a few observations today while driving in the white death:
1. Grocery stores, gas stations, Walmart and McDonalds will stay open no matter how bad the weather.
2. People think that because they spent $70,000 on a BMW that it SHOULD be able to drive through anything.
3. Don't drive through an unplowed parking lot at even 10 mph unless you know exactly where the curbs and "planter islands" are (guess how I figured this one out)
4. Even though you probably wouldn't walk through the house with snow covered boots and pantlegs, you will if you have to pi$$ bad enough.

1. Is not 100% accurate. Wasn't a diesel pump to be found open around Horsham, PA. around 3am Sunday. I didn't need it but a few of the other trucks with me did(all have 50+ gallon tanks). Thank god for the Wawa on 463 near Norristown Rd even though they were running out of some items at the deli.

2. Correct

3. Makes sense, with 12+ inches of blowing snow, a curb won't stand out as a bump.

4. What's wrong with pi$$ing outside, I guess this depends on if you live in a single or an apartment complex. I work outside without a bathroom so we get creative:laugh:.

I didn't get to play in the snow, I drove my XJ to my plow truck but roads weren't that bad and GF didn't want me "playing" on the way in. She needed the Jeep then to do Christmas shopping. I got to my truck at 9am Saturday and parked it 8am Sunday. 23 hours straight, very tired but good for the wallet since I don't think I will be doing any tree work this week. I put 150 miles on the truck just pushing snow on municipal roads. Monster energy drink GOOD!!!!

it's even better when they try and follow you. or they get really mad when you go around the plow trucks and they and they can't even go over 10 mph :looser: on rt 9
