I am trying to figure out what length shocks are most common to run with the deaver leaf pack and jks shackles im not willing to cut the back floor up just to do shock hoops its kind of an all around rig for me so any help would be great

The best thing to do is measure hole to hole at ride height, then from there find out what shocks you want and go from there.

So lets say you measured hole to hole on your jeep where the shock goes and it measures 23", say you want a fox 2.0 shock you would get a 10" travel or 11" travel. ( I would go with a 11")

10.0" travel (Extended) 26.10" (Collapsed)16.10"
11.0" travel (Extended) 28.10" (Collapsed)17.10"

Check out http://downsouthmotorsports.com/ for some great shock deals.

Tell Sonny Cache sent you.

yeah i was just trying to see what others are running and kinda go from there i have a friend who works there and i work at camburg but thanks are you running 11s yourself?

So the limit in the rear is bump travel. You can run a 8.5" shock if you extend your bumps a little. You can get just over 10" of travel with the set up. Keep in mind your up travel lit may be your shocks so if you do the fast stuff be ready to beat the hell out of your shocks and shock mounts.

you don't really need long travel Deavers if you are not going to use all the travel though. My solution was going to be a cantilever set up but damn if XJs have NO room even for that.

Good luck.
