I'm adding a small lift to my 92' XJ (Junk Yard lift) and I need to know were to purchase the leaf spring clamps for my add-a-leaf's. Is there a good way to make them myself? I would rather not re-use the old ones.

Also, what's the "term" for these things?

Thanks,

Leaf spring clamps. Autozone sells them for like $15 a pair, but I bought them at the local spring shop for $4 apiece. Reusing the old ones is a PITA.

I just called Jason at rough country and had him ship some to me. He knows what the ones you need are.

The clamping ones aren't good. You need something that will allow the leafs to slide past eachother. The ones from AutoZone aren't right. I tried them, makes the ride stiffer because it doesn't let the leafs flex.

Get the ones from Rusty. They are 2 piece and you just bend down the top flaps of the clamp to keep the two halves together essentially stopping the leafs from twisting but still allowing them to slide past eachother when they flex.
