I just went to a local machine shop with a set of calipers and asked the guy if I could look around for some steel that was the size I want, and after about 5 minutes of looking I found a 3 foot section that fit perfectly. Maybe I just got really lucky but you might try it.

There is a step in the stock bushing sleeve that needs to be taken into account. I didn't and got screwed by it. I ended up just grinding the step off the bushing.

I greased up the bushing sleeve and made a jig for my 16 ton hydraulic jack tube bender (the cheap kind you see in harbor freight) and that step was no longer an issue....with enough force that step shouldn't really be a problem.

Rock logic has it. price os good too. thats what I wanted.
