lateral shackle angles?

Looked at it a little more. Version one is intended to be mounted on the outside of the original shackle box. This picture looks like you mounted it inside. This will easily make up 1/4" of the difference.

That's why I had to enlarge all the frame rail holes and trim the bumper side edge a bit to make it fit.

not questioning your install... (and i havent read the entire thread) but did you let the jeep sit under its own weight before tightening to spec?

I did let it sit before tightening.

But, yes, I did screw up the install as well..
