Late model Xj parking brake cable, what did you do?

Originally I just mounted a piece of square tube to lower the mounting bracket, now I want to do something more permanant. I've seen lots of talk of using yj cables, but it all seems to be for the earlier style cables. I am really only concerned with the driver's side cable, the passenger side cable looks to be long enough.

If you're trying to gain a bit more length, there's a cool trick you can on you late model XL. Check out the tech section (under brakes) for relocating the Parking Brake Bracket, at madxj --> Click Me! Click Me!

Tried that idea first, but I'm too tall. Guess I'll use the extra 3 feet of cable by using an extra passenger side.
