I took the top off the "Barbie Jeep" today for one last time! Its beautiful here in the mountains with the leaves in full color. We figured we would get one last sunburn.

I've read the same thing about the 3.6L Pentastar engine. I'd love to have a 2012 Rubicon 4 door in the grabber blue.

The 3.8 is a dog just like it is in the mommy vans. It gets XJ like mileage with much less "pep". It has been relatively trouble free for 48k.
Me too but they are gonna be pricey! I'm a 2 door guy though, the 4 door looks like crap unless its lifted.

I hear ya! Family is why I even have the Commander. Of course there is only the 3 of us after this year. So I could get by with just the XJ's as a family cars again.
The dealer wants my Commander now but I won't sell it to them. I think they have somebody who really wants one just like it.

Just got back from Jerry's run Jon. It's snowing like hell up there now. I was up there early this morning before it started snowing/sleeting and only snapped a pic. I've been MIA lately so busy with work and what not. It's nice to take a day and go for a trail ride

Exit 1 on 64 John. It's a old fishing stream. It doesn't look like many people have been back in there in years (I haven't went back in there since I was 12). It's nothing technical, just a fun ride in the middle of no where with a little mud here and there.

Sure man, I'm living a few miles from there now. Ditched the lake house last week, I'm probably going to be moving to northern Georgia in about a month or so. We'll have to hit it before then!

Yeah definitely is a ghost town man. Seems like half the entire lake is for sale. I'll give you a call whenever I head out. I know for sure we're going riding next weekend to photograph some stuff and try to find some rail road crossings on some old logging roads about 15 miles or so back.
