Any one from SC ever been to La Panza OHV just outside of Pozo? I just went for the first time and it was pretty fun. Just a break from the mountains. Couple of really hard, tippy, spots on Pine Mountain with shear drops on both sides. Lots of ridge trails in the arrid foothill type layout. Pretty nice.

Did you go up the "stairs " at the west end of Pine Mountain?
Did you go on the Las Chiches trail? It continues from where the western end of Pine Mountain crosses La Panza road, north to the saddle of Black Mountain road (though I like to run it north to south)
Just wondering how the sprinkles of last week effected them.
Lot of dirt bikes there, but the "stairs" on Pine Mountain keeps them off that one.

oh the stairs. tough going those stairs. went up, but only after a few trys. then turned around to go down and chickened out. its a long drop on both sides. the stairs were pretty washed out according to some bikers that hit it every weekend. these guys had to carry there bikes down. we met them right at the stairs. they watched me go up that and were like holy shit!!!. it was hard going though. we spent the rest of the day putting around the whole ohv area. its a fun place once you get down in the basin there. while we were going up the stairs my brother dropped my brand new digi camera out of the window and i ran it over. but it was a really good time.

Yea, the "stairs" are "fun".
Made the bikers carry their rides over it?
That's what keeps most of them off that trail!
Isn't it great you can drive a Jeep up something you can barely climb up on your own two feet.
Sorry to hear the camera story, I keep wondering if I should have got insurance for mine before I do the same.
