Anybody have this setup? I've got an AW4 (98 model) I'm swapping into my rig, and a 23 spline KluneV to go with it. I thought the Klune would bolt right up to the AW4, but the input on it is bottoming out against the speed sensor ring / end of the splines on the tranny output shaft.
I need either a 1/4" spacer plate, or to knock 1/4" off the input of the Klune to make it work. I did call Klune and they suggested it would be ok to just cut down the Klune input with a grinder so long as you do it slow to keep the heat down, and keep an nice chamfer on it when you're done. I'll still have 2" of spline engagement so that won't be a problem.
Anybody else have this issue? It is a 4:1 case. They did tell me that all the 4:1's have the same input length, while the 2.7:1's have 2 different length inputs available.
BTW, this is my first post here. Just wanted to mention this place has been great for finding info for my AW4 swap the last couple months.
thanks
