Kind of a build thread.....

I was just looking through a bunch of pics, and thought I would post'em up.

Bought it bone stock, was owned by the Federal Government before I got my hands on it….. Can’t find a picture of it in it its original unmolested state though.
Shortly after I bought it, I put on a roof rack, some bald 33’s on steel wheels, and a 4.5 inch lift, bumper and winch, diffs were open/open at this point:

Then came some rock rails, bushwacker flares, and 35’s:

Then a new rear bumper, with tire carrier:

Shortly after that I lost the crappy roof rack:

And added this!!! 29 splined, Locked, and geared, and put an Aussie in the front.

Bought me a tow rig,

Then I was really able to start tearing into the XJ, and start going a little wild with it.
Upgraded to some 36’s:

Added some THOR and JCR rear quarter guards, and wheeled it a while like that.

Then came the exo cage:

Then I swapped in a HP44 Front (stock width), with WJ knuckles, WJ dual piston calipers, and Ford Explorer Sport Trac Rotors:

Then picked up this:

Wheeled it for a while again…..

Then picked up these….. just got’em mounted Friday night….. Will be testing them out this coming weekend.

It is in good hands serving as a wintertime DD for lady who needed 4wd where she lives. LOL Lets put it this way where she lives it snows and ices over regularly, and she drives about 15 miles from her house before ever hitting a paved road. LOL

Yeah I was going to keep it, but I just knew I would end up with two money pits. Then an Arkansas Crawler's member needed a rig for his wife to DD during the winter months, so I passed on the good deal to him.

Thanks guys..... All you gotta do is come to ROM, and we can do some wheeling!!! Also I may even try to make it down to Bridgeport, and a few other places this summer.
