Some of the parasites are really scarey. Tuberculosis, leptospirosis, mange, round worm and others that can be transmitted to humans, cats and dogs.
Skin it, gut it, cook it and freeze the left overs. Letting it feed where your kids play or your pets wander is just plain dumb.
Deer have something like 130 cronic diseases, most not often transmitted to humans, but there is alway the exceptions to that rule.
I don´t let it freak me out, but I do take precautions.
People that invite wildlife into there gardens are just asking for it. These back to nature idiots, that want to turn suburban areas into a wildlife garden of Eden, are gonna cause consequences, that last a lifetime for some people.

I think any municipality that makes it impossible for you to exclude deer from your living space should be obligated either to remove them for you or to pay for the medical consequences of having them there.
I live in the country, and I like seeing deer in the back field and all; in fact I post my land, but this PETA crap is just ridiculous. What's next? The noble, misunderstood rat?

:laugh2: I've already been to Provo dressed in white to ask the Prophet himself; they met me with a clinical psychologist...BMX01XJ said:Maybe you should ask Jesus if he, himself will ask the deer to stay out of your garden.
