MADISON
Candice Eileen Tylke, peacefully passed away in Madison on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at age 42. She was born on Dec. 12, 1965, in Milwaukee, to Vincent Sr. and Cecile (nee Kaczmarski) Tylke. Candice graduated from West Milwaukee High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from UW-Oshkosh. She received an associate's degree and two certificates from MATC Madison, MATC Milwaukee, and Rockford Memorial Hospital, respectively. She was a firefighter/ paramedic for many years for the City of Beloit, and also worked as a flight paramedic with Wausau MedEvac. Candice enjoyed the outdoors, sailing, flying, landscaping and her loyal pets. She also loved to listen to music and cook. She was a longtime member of the International Association of Fire Fighters, and the International Association of Flight Paramedics. Candice is survived by her two brothers, Vincent Jr. (Annette) of New Berlin, and Gregory (Barbara) of Milwaukee; a close cousin, Mary Ellis of Racine; and a host of relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her best friend and soul mate, her sister Valerie; and her faithful border collies, Jazz and Sam. Candice's life influenced many and will be cherished always. All friends, relatives and colleagues are welcome to attend a Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 10 a.m. Memorial Celebration at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Candice's name to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
