Just another buggy.....

bent up the boatsides on my lunch break... managed to get one tacked up, im getting the other one in tomorrow and ill make a judgement call on the boatside height. As of right now i like it, its only 8 inches above the top of a stock rocker.

Looks nice.

Do you intend to put a stock Cherokee front clip back on it? Or something of the sort?

no the front will be just wide enough for the radiator and some square headlights then to cover it all up i'll cut down a cherokee center grille to fit. as for the rest of it its just getting basic buggy skins...no use putting a bunch of time in on cherokee panels that will get mutilated quickly :explosion

Well, I just meant to ask if it was going to have a Cherokee grille on it.

There's a couple small buggys around here built like you're building yours. They're by far my favorite. I'll see if I can dig up a picture or two.

This one belongs to Miller McArthor (sp?)

I LOVE this thing. I'm trying to find a picture of the other one.

Here's a couple shots off of the Gulches web page.

i have pictures of his jeep somewhere, its a nice rig. plus he saved a lot of scratch by keeping the front inner fenders...nothing like using cherokee stuff that was already there for your font suspension

air shocks or coilovers....whichever shows up in the pirate marketplace cheapest when it comes time to buy. 4 link rear, 3 link front. 44/8.8 combo pretty much identical axles to tim's. He's had such good luck out of them that i'm just copying them...plus im not running a 5 speed/5.0 atlas combo like him so it should ease a little pain on the drivetrain  id love to run ORI's but unless theres a major income upgrade in the next year i wont be seeing any anytime soon

pass side up...i like it, high clearance sides are staying.

sat in it to get a feel for it, i havent drawn anything out on what i want it to look like, so every time i get another section done i have to stop and stare at everything for about 15 minutes.....slow but effective
