Junk Yard Parts Finds/Requests

For those who have recently gone to the junkyards....did u see any full size (old body stlye) wagoneers?? Let me know. Thanks

How about Nissan Frontiers? My brother has been searching with no luck to find one to replace his swaybar. He broke it playing pre-runner in the desert...:D

I could use a ZJ e-brake cable from one with discs. I have ZJ discs out back but no e-brake cable...and I think people are getting tired of the divots I leave behind trying to keep my Jeep from rolling back when parked at work (dirt slope).

if anyone comes comes across a rear hitch for a comanche, PLEASE let me know? been looking for a while with no luck. don't care to spend the $200+ for a new one. if you find one and pull it, i will reimburse you for the cost of the hitch, and your time.

Will an XJ hitch fit a Comanche? I could probably get ahold of my old hitch pretty easily. Only took it off since my new bumper has a built in hitch.

I need a black 97 and up passenger side front fender with little to no dents.

If you see it, grab it. I'll pay cash on the head for it.

Thanks.

I was out at the 6th street yard and seen one comanche, and I was not sure about the part if it was a bumper or the hitch. Any way this truck had a prerunner type bumper and I looked to see if the hitch was connected to the bumper and it was welded I think it was in good shape for being in the junk yard. If you shoot out there the prices are half off this weekend only.

awesome! thank you very much. the only problem is, i have to work all weekend. crap. if someone, for some reason, is heading out there and would pull that off, i will GLADLY reimburse them. not gonna hold my breath, just throwing that out there. thanks again for the heads up!

thats cool, but i went to ontario yesterday and saw quite a few XJs, and they were all torn apart. and when i mean torn apart, i mean people are taking the rear ends apart and leaving the parts all over the ground. saw 3 or 4 transmission and transfer cases out and laying on the ground split apart. even some of the cases are split like they started opening the case then decided to go somewere else. it was ashame to see it all. walking around id see a carrier laying on the ground and the axles were still in the housing of the jeep next to it. why? its not like they took the carrier or the axles. pretty much sucked for me because i was there looking for an aw4/231 or 242 and all the decent ones were allready removed and seperated from eachother and rolled around in the dirt. ok i suppose ive vented enough, but that really got me pissed to see that. if you dont want it------leave it for someone who does.

I seen the same thing. Jeeps all torn apart like someone was searching for something and did not find what they were looking for and decided to move to the next jeep and so on. Yea, what a shame some of those parts were good I'm sure until they got kicked around in the dirt. The part yard off waterman North and 6th st. was much mor clean with jeep still in tack so far.

i may try that yard if i can. thanks for the heads up.
by the way, ontario yard had an f150 with an 8.8, yukon axles, 4.10 gears, and a locker sittin there. not sure if anyone uses those wider axles.

What kind of locker?

i didnt open it up, but i had a buddy hold the other drum as i spun the other and they spun the same way and he couldnt stop it from turning. useually you can if its a LSD, and an open would spin the other direction. its way in the back under a very very very totalled f150. had real nice wheels with 44s too. this thing was so bad the frame was actually twisted and broke. have a feeling there was no survivers on that crash. smelt bad too so whatch out for uuuuhhhm rotting flesh.
