June Meet And Greet

Ryan (Dr. Moab) and family will be in Colorado on June 16th to deliver the Giveaway XJ. Thought we could get together with them for a bit. I suggested Dave And Buster's and Ryan loved the idea.

So 6pm on Saturday June 16th. Be at the Dave And Busters off of I-25 and Colorado Blvd.

Cause I got burnt out on driving long distances when I was up at UNC. So now if it takes me more than 30 minutes I am pretty put out. Most people might think thats stupid. But it's the truth. That and I'm a homebody, I don't go out much. If you guys lived in Castle Rock I'd visit all the time...............

What the hell are you talking about Led, it was a suggestion. Or did you forget to read the very last line? The Meet 'n Greet was something that Ryan and I had discussed, and thats exactly what it is, a Meet 'n Greet. I said that it could be a meeting if we needed but that I WOULD LEAVE IT TO THE POWERS THAT BE TO DECIDE THAT. Which are our elected leaders in case you missed that. If the next meeting is supposed to be in the springs, great, grand, wonderful. But that doesn't change the Meet 'n Greet at all, I don't need to consult the BOD to set one up. As far as I am concerned, it's not even club related. Just a bunch of friends getting together for a good time. Feel free to attend and I'll buy ya a beer...............:thumbup:

I gotta side with DJ on this. He and Ryan had been talking back channel and Ryan and his wife wanted to meet people at a fun place. It was simply suggested by DJ that it be Dave & Busters, Ryan said he likes those places and they don't have one in Utah - so that's how that came to be.

DJ did drop the idea about making a meeting out of it as well - just suggested it - didn't make anything official.

So, leave the D&B plans as they are, and we'll schedule the next chapter meeting for the 'Springs for another time.

Now, shup and get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Seriously though my wife and I are up for anything. Our plan is to leave Utah Fri night and try to get to Grand Jct. Then Sat we could work our way over the pass and down to CS...drop the jeep off and head back to Denver.

If the timing doesn't work out though we are up for anything.

If the XJ is coming down I-25 to the springs, I am right off the hiway about 1-1/2 miles. That might be the easiest way to get the "The Rack" with "The XJ". Let me know what you think.

I've been PM'ing Troy and he said that collecting donationed items at the M&G was okay. Although I can't make it, I am trying to find someone from the Springs that can bring donations for the Care Package for Seth Stantons unit back down to me. For those of you that have children at home....a hand made card would be a very welcome addition.....so if your a child at heart you can join right in too.
