July 28th Gilbert OHV

[MN-Cherokee]

Me and some of the guys from the local Jeep club (MN-Jeep.com) made a little run up to the Gilbert OHV park located in the Iron Range of northern Minnesota. It was a fun weekend and we had a great time.

Other than a broken clutch pedal and a leaky 8.8 diff cover after a run in with a rock, the trip went by without any major damage.

The Subaru Gl has been around the MN-Jeep forum for quite awhile. Its on its second or third owner now. It is suprisingly capable for what it is. It has a custom lift kit and a spool in the rear.

I was reading your signature and realized your XJ sounds almost identical to mine.

I used to have a GL... it was stock but it could really take a beating. Great little cars.
