Joining?

How do you join the RRC? I have been in San Antonio now for 5 months and have a 2000 XJ/Limited. Interested in joining so I can get in on the fun.

Welcome to the RRC!

There you joined... lol j/k.

Agreed you can join NAXJA via your user control panel. Once a member of NAXJA the only thing you have to do to be a member of the RRC is live in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, or Oklahoma. Yes it is that easy! You are welcome to attend our meet-n-greets or any organized event we are having.

Haha! Welcome my friend.

Thanks guys. Anyone know any good spots around San Antonio? Gotta get my Jeep lifted but I can definitely wheel a stocker. These things are incredibly able even stock.

Also, a little background. I've owned a TJ, then upgraded (yeah I said it) to a YJ which I think was just a tougher vehicle overall. Then I got my hands on the addiction...an XJ. First XJ was a 2000 Classic and was a great vehicle (surprise, surprise) now I'm on to a 2000 Limited. So far everything is stock and the only mods I've done is Herculiner and remove the worthless rear track bar.

TJ + YJ = XJ... it's the best of both of them all in one.

What is the best Jeep out there? Real talk.

That's an emberrasment to nature and Jeep. Seriously though. Which is best?

What about a JK?

What about a JK?

the Just Kidding Jeep?

As with any open top Jeep, save and except the CJ8...and the M715 I guess, there is not enough cargo space for my needs, so it would now qualify as "the best" in my world.

The questions still remains: "The best at what?"

I would say a 4 door JK, BUT the thing I hate about ours is it has a gutless minivan engine, and the body panels feel flimsy. I am always worried that I might dent it, just be leaning up against it or something. Otherwise they are great, good wheelbase, extremely capable right out of the box, but I just can't get past the lack of power.

Well I can't think of the best of what. Guess I should narrow it down huh?
