it was a great day, no problems with any of the jeeps. Only thing that slowed us down was that tree.

Mike and Rick, thanks again for comin today guys, i enjoyed it:cheers:

:shhh:I got within 10 miles of the meet and greet :party:and
:banghead:then sat still on !-25 for 1/2 hr.

:idea:Then engaging 4-low, I crept at 3 mph for a couple more miles.

 I turned around with 7 miles to go at 5:45 pm.

:guitar:A few factors caused the slowdown.

:eyes: First the snow, about 2" of new snow on ther freeway. It started snowing around Orchard Ave in the DTC area.

:shhh: Construction tapering 4 lanes of traffic into 2 lanes in 2 miles, with heavy on ramp traffic also slowed things down.

:dunno: I also heard on the cb radio that a major accident at milepost 140, south of the Springs also was a reason for slow traffic.

:yelclap:Anyway, made it home safe, phew...

Nice pics! Looks like you guys had decent weather.

It was a good decision for me to stay home today, otherwise...

yeah the weather was good. it started to snow a litle when we met in lyons but by the time we got the the trail, the snow had stopped and the sun started peaking out of the clouds about half way through.
