Johnny Joint questions

I reallly don't know a whole lot about them. I've got RE fixed upper and lower control arms. There's no way I could use johnny joints with them right? I can only use bushings? Sorry for the noob question.

i think the re arms have stock bushings in them, or something similar. yes, i'm pretty sure you can replace them with johnny joints, but i don't think it'll be worth the effort if those bushings are in decent shape, and you plan on ditching those arms for a longarm setup soon anyway....

I'm actually gonna run the drop brackets now. I don't need long arm with the type of wheeling i do now. Plus I can grab those relocation brackets now for my shackles.

Do you have the arms with the flex joint on one side? If so I'd run them as is. If not do you happen to know what tube they use on their arms? If its at least .25 you could cut your ends off and then weld on some bungs or weld on the builder joints.

I don't think they have flex joints. They're fixed from end to end.

Just looked at them actually. Polly bushings on the frame end of the lower CAs. Flex joints on the axle side. The uppers are just straight up polly bushings.

flex joints and drop brackets. i can order them this weekend.
