joe has been banned

I will be happy to be joes form of communication from here on out. For now on I am mbogosia and wingnutooa. All wingnutooa content will come straight from joe via text. Lol

Joe says "its unfortunate how things turned out and if he had to do it again he would put more thought into it."

I then proceeded to teach joe how to hide his ip address and still view naxja as a guest. :)

Joe signed up as a titanium level sponsor and several members have been trying to redeem their gift certificates only to find out he is unable to deliver on the product.

There is a thread over in the Vendors section under feedback. Search Octane Outlaws.

Joe seemed to be a good guy-- might have taken on a bit more than he could handle, but still a decent person. I've been there before, and hold no grudges against someone who over-reaches his boundaries and sees his mistake-- all-be-it a little too late.

I think if he tries to re-pay the sponsorship money that he promised, he could still be an active member-- I don't believe anyone on here has an axe to grind with him as a person, it's just a matter of him paying for the advertising that he received in return for the gift certificates he gave out.

I'm with Shorty, I only know a little bit about the story but I think if he pays "restitution" for lack of a better term, he should be reinstated.

With Platinum status you have to strip on a pole?

I'd feel a lot more forgiving if even one of the certificates had been honored. Has he made any product before? Was product produced after signing on with NAXJA? Was product produced for sale after a certificate was attempted to be cashed in? Did customers who saw advertising on NAXJA purchase product?

Those are all the tough questions that I'm sure we won't hear the answer to. He had the chance to man up earlier, instead he chose to ride it out until several members attempted to cash in and the BOD was taking action (he surrendered on his deadline date), that's the easy way out.
