so i'm looking for a change. Getting sick of all of the lazyness and double standards around here and decided it was time for me to move on. So if anyone is hiring or knows of someone who is let me know. I can do just about anything. Also if anyone needs some work done on any vehicles that is also a possibility. I'm also a locksmith. Thanks everyone.

What kind of work are you looking for?

1,000,000 for the lock picking lessons. And as far as type of work. I'm pretty much open to anything and love to learn new things. Probably why i put up with this place so long was because of what i was learning about polyurethane.

Pound on doors down on 16th Avenue and get yourself a record deal....

Just a thought.

Or, you could be a professional scavenger. Complile a list of parts people need, then a couple days each week hit the local junkyards, pull parts, and deliver them!

i'm also throwing the idea around of building
roof racks,
half doors,
front/rear bumpers,
and quick disconnects,

on the cheap for people on a budget.

this along with the possibility of jeep trailers but this will only be if a job doesnt come my way.

i'd like to get this all figured out within a week or so.

gotta get out of this place.

management is poor

i've only seen the president come out of the office maybe 20 times since i have worked there.

and that is just to pass a peice of paper.

he has no knowledge of how his company is run.

my co worker is lazy and smokes too much, its been happening that way for so long that my boss sees it as being the norm, and does nothing about it.

double standards

they onlly let temps go.

hard work is punished by lay off

a temp blasted up all of the wheels, busted his ass, and they let him go, there was plenty to do that gets neglected by maintenance.

maintenance man is a know it all highschool drop out.

and here's the funny part. its the only job he's ever had because his dad, who was a highschool dropout. convinced him to drop out to come work here.

the reward for slow and shoddy work is more hours and more pay.

nobody cares about anything they should care about.

no supervision

employees think they are irreplaceable.

i'm getting pretty sick of it

i could go on and on....but i dont want to be late for "work"

So i'm gonna start with the roof racks in the next day or so.

not totally sure on the price but i'm guestimating between 150 and 200.

you will have to buy a set of these
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUR-GM100

if you google surco GM100 you can find some for less than 50 bucks shipped.

these racks will be shippable but i'm not sure on the weight yet. and they will need assembled after you get them.

local guys can pick up an assembled. rack.

half doors will be my next offer but that'll be a little later.

you sure you dont work for industrial timber????? ha! thats about what it is around here but obviously different because we are in the furniture business, our maintenance man once tried but now is such a slack ass that i think his uncle the plant manager might actually stop giving him free rides...on everything.... we dont drug screen our workers because otherwise we wouldnt have any... it seems that if your good at delegating all of your work then you can go places here but if you actually show up for work and do your job then your stuck where your at and the pay isnt all that great, i finally reached what the big boss man said i would be making within a year.... after 4 years of service. my boss likes to think he is the big boss and acts like it most of the time but no matter how much he wants to act like it, hes not just another plant manager that makes too much money for what he actually does and is so contradictive im starting to think he is in the early stages of deminsia...:twak:

almost there! its been longer than i've wanted getting to this point but i've had to spend money on tools, wait to get more money, and then spend it on tools.

but we're finally getting done.

nice score on the welder! wootwoot!
i want one of those racks, but i have to find a job myself before i can throw the coin at it. if a job for me doesn't come around, i'd actually blow some of my college grant money on one, lol:D do you think it could handle a 32" spare?
