Jeeps For Joy benefit run (PA/DE area)

There will be a benefit run at Rausch Creek for "Jeeps For Joy" on November 18th. Rausch Creek will donate $5 from every vehicle to Jeeps For Joy. Please bring one new unwrapped gift. There may also be a raffle to raise more money. stay tuned for more info.

Jeeps For Joy is a non-profit program organized by the Delaware Jeep Association to give gifts to children at the A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Present are also donated to Children’s Choice Foster Care. In early December, there will be a 2 day event, accepting donations at a shopping center in Pike Creek, Delaware and on the 2nd day, the toys will be delivered via a Jeep convoy to the Hospital for Children. All street-legal vehicles are welcome to participate. Jeeps For Joy - Benefit Ride!

On November 18, 2006, the Delaware Jeep Association with the cooperation of Rausch Creek Off Road Park will host a fundraising trail ride benefiting the 2006 "Jeeps for Joy" Memorial Toy Drive.

All off-road vehicles are invited for a day of trail riding! Guides will be provided for all trail levels. We are asking everyone to bring a new, unwrapped toy as a donation for the Nemours/ A.I. duPont Hospital for Children and Children's Choice Foster Care. Your donations will help guarantee many children have a happier Holiday Season this year.

A raffle for off-road accessories and doorprizes will also be held!

This is happening on a Saturday and I normally work until 1pm on Saturdays. I could possibly swap a shift with someone though.

thanks man, the thought is appreciated. this is the first time that the club is doing a benefit run for Jeeps For Joy, so we're all hoping it goes well.

well, the trail ride was a big success, AJs Offroad donated a bumper for the raffle. nice!

the toy drive event is coming up soon (Dec 9th) and we've got our major sponsor lined up, and lined up a good radio station to come and broadcast live. Oh, and Santa will be there! after the donations are all in and the raffle prizes have been distributed, there will be a convoy to deliver the toys to the childrens hospital, AI Dupont. feel free to stop by and say hi, even if you can't stay long, this is the biggest Jeep event in the area that the public will see for the entire year, so shine it up, or get it muddy and stop by.
