My 96 xj 4.0 wont start. It wont turn over but if you turn the key the headlights come and dash lights come on. Anyone have any ideas as to what issues i should look for first?

Iam not getting any clicks from the starter when i turn the key.
When i try to start it i get nothing but the head lights coming on..no engine turn over and no starter clicks...
Anyone else have any advise??

The implication is that you try to do a little searching yourself. The thread I provided was not solely for 'no start with clicking.' It should give you ideas of things to try...like cleaning battery terminals, checking grounds, etc.
