Jeep Forum but need Chevy help

Will I EVER LEARN!! I got a waterpump from Autozone yesterday and PURPOSELY TOLD the kid 5.3 L not flex fuel.
Looks like the non flex fuel has a different diameter thermostat and hoses.
Now I need to wait until tomorrow morning before he can get me the other

I'm glad I drive jeeps, Nissan and my Ford

OK was not the pump took it to a real mechanic to what he thinks!
I really hope it's not the heads and just something I overlooked

It looks like it's the heads that are bad. My mechanic says 15hrs labor plus parts does that sound right?

Just hold off for now. I have to make some calls about the tahoe. Right now I think I'm gonna order the parts for the tranny in the jeep. That's only 150.

LS1more... any ideas for less expensive way to go. I think he uses some sort of GM flatrate manual and then modifies for me?

I'm open to suggestions!!!

Will, I can't be 100% sure it's the heads but everything else checks out? My mechanic is good as well as his guys... he says it's the heads... he would not be able to know exact circumstances until he pulls them.

That said how are you on the french clutch / transmission on the MJ... may need assistance

Supposedly the clutch kit it's pretty much the same as the ax15
