Jeep died randomly

My XJ died last week after I accelerated hard from a stop. The tach stayed at 4k for a few seconds after it died. When I tried to start the Jeep after it died I noticed the fuel gauge and volt gauge didn't move but the Jeep would crank. After unplugging connectors and checking fuses under the hood, still nothing. The run/start/drl fuse blew in the kick panel. What/where should I check so the fuse doesn't blow again?

Update. Again yesterday the same fuse blew but this time I was stopped.

Sounds to me like you have a bare wire somewhere that is being shorted out, causing the fuse to blow. I'd start checking all hot wires in that circuit.
