Jeep 2500 Parts... I found them here...

What gap do you mean? Is it on the side (where you didn't photograph :twak: )? (where the wires to you old tail lamps are coming out)

If so I'd go to the auto parts store and get some black weatherstrip tape for campers. If you apply it carefully you can make it look correct and not noticeable.

Ok ill take a look at the weather strip.

If you look at my Jeep from the back in the pics i provided, you can see the gap below the new taillight between it and the plastic bumper end.

See it now? Maybe i jumped the gun again however ... it might just appear that there is a gap .. but there isnt. Ill find out today after work when i get them installed... and ill take a video of the lights working for you all.

On another note, it looks like ill get my header panel and grill today also :D

It might be because the 2500 uses different bumper corners and a plactic cover for the bumper.

Got my stuff in today, header will be coming monday, I have pics to post, but I gotta run to class now, I'll put em online when I get back in about 1.5 hours.

If you are ever down my way i owe you at least a drunken night on the town!

Its nice to be one of the first people to have these parts in the US.

Hell yes! But your going to have to pick me up at your old address. :)

And your welcome, it was a fun adventure...... but now I got nothing to do while I'm at work.

Uh-Oh, What did I miss?????

Weve already ordered, and well unless someone else steps up, and REALLY does the leg work, there probably wont be another order for quite some time.

Ah, okay, I wasn't sure if I was seeing a gap there last night or if it was a lighting trick.

I'd try the weatherstripping there as well, that gap is what, about a half inch? That's about the same as the camper shell weatherstripping.

Read post # 497

;)

Thats why i emphasized on the "REALLY" ... sure we could all say were going to put together an order.. but unless the work is done .. well its just not done.

From my understanding alot of leg work was involved. Some people get turned off by that, and just toss it on the back burner.

Good luck though... it will definetly be worth it.

Cool thanks for the help and the wake up call ;)

No problem.

The RENIX brotherhood must stick together in order to keep those H.O. weenies in their place.

Yes there was LOTS AND LOTS of leg work and time invested in this. But in the end it was worth it. It should be easier now that we know that the stuff will actually come in and get past Customs. I told them it was for "personal use", but I don't know how it would work if you brought in lots of items. I didn't use a broker (because I'm cheap), but if I did or had more stuff it might be easier. Also you must figure in the cost of Port/Dock handleing charges. I paid $120ish for the drop in Cailfornia and $80ish in Seattle/Auburn on top of the shipping costs coming across the water. So make the order worth it because the shipping is expensive and there is not a lot of difference in price for a small or large order.
