I saw these wheels on a different forum:

They kinda look like Outback TX-1s... but not quite.

Does anyone know of a similar aftermarket wheel? Preferably something available in 16x8 or 17x8?

IIRC they are RENIX era wheels so I'd guess not.

I see those at junkyards periodically, unfortunately the junkyard database software everybody uses doesn't have a part associated with them so nobody knows if they have them.

To answer the OP's question, I don't know if anybody makes them in a 16 or 17 inch rim. Haven't ever seen anything.

They are called Turbines FWIW.

Yep, those are Turbines, the best wheel Jeep ever put on the XJ IMHO. I ran them on my old 96 trail rig and they originally came on my 90 XJ that I drive daily. I still have these wheels and I plan on re-finishing them soon.

Good times in that old rig, my son drives it now. Here is what it looks like with soft 8's now and a 97+ front bumper

Yup, they look good no matter what kind of rig they're used on, be it a trail rig, DD rig with 235's, desert racers, or even a sport/street truck with wideish street tires!

BTW, the late model bumper really looks good on your truck too!

Man I'm just getting screwed big time lately. I just tossed out a set of 4 of those with my wrecked rig. If I knew so many people liked them I would have refinished them in gunmetal like these and sold them!!!

Dang! Those look so nice. Although for that price Id rather buy a set with a poor finish, then repaint them with the gunmetal finish.
