I like the CB idea. I have been trying to figure out what to do with that space since I swapped in a 97+ console into my 94.

Yeah I'm working on console improvements as I love the cupholders but hate how half assed it looks in there.
I also put a plate over the hole in the HVAC system in front of the console, I always got massive hot air blowing out there.
Next plan is to get the console bucket that belongs in it, and get the ash trays, then modify the front ash tray into an ipod holder.

Why won't yours fit?
I had an issue with hitch clearance on the frame tie-ins, ended up removing the hitch. I also had an issue with bracket clearance on the nut-strips, nothing the sawzall couldn't fix.

Bolt holes where the stock bumper bolts on don't line up to JCR bumper.

I did 2 rear bumpers from JCR, both went on easy..How far off are the holes?

At least a half a hole, on 3 or 4 holes.

WOW, i have heard all good about JCR, must been a bad day..Can you drill the hole out a little to make it fit? Use good flat washers when you install after you drill

Yea I could but I called them, they want me to knock out the inserts in the mounts and use bolts, washers and nuts. I am going to look at it again this weekend and decide which way I want to mount it. Pretty good customer service. We will see how it ends up. Im not here to bash them. I understand sometimes stuff just does not line up.
