It's about @#$#^ time!!

The article doesn't bother to mention that Obama issued an executive order that effectively rescinds the requirement for work while on welfare.

No wondering needed, people on welfare can vote.

Ah yes. Workfare. Can't have it you know as it demeans the character of the recipients.

Leastways that is the Media/Dems view point on the subject. Personally, I think it a good idea. And whilst we are on this subject, can anyone explain to me how it is that a welfare recipient deserves more money for popping out an extra kid? I do not remember my employer giving me a raise when my Son showed up...

Come to think of it, I had to pay the medical bills as well...

Fred, you can count me as a Rational Anarchist.

That's been my question for years. When you sign up for welfare, your amount should be fixed to the number of children you currently have and/or expect - you have more kids after that, that's your problem. Make sure they know that going in, and let them learn to deal with their own actions. You have another kid, you can stop eating to feed the spawn - parents sacrifice for their kids all the time.

Now, we've just got to figure out how to stop Congress from voting themselves pay rises. Last time I checked, I couldn't go in front of my boss and say, "You're going to give me a pay rise, just because I want one. I don't have to justify it, and you can't deny it, so fork it over."
