Kristen Erica Roy was born Saturday, Dec. 17, weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz., and measuring 18.5 inches long. She was born by emergency c-section, so I'm home briefly gathering a few things for the extended stay at the hospital while the girls recover. Mom and baby are fine, but it was a close call there at the end.

I'll have pics in the next couple of days, but if you picture a normal looking baby with one of those hospital hats on - that's what she looks like :)

Congrats. Now you will have to listen to a female gripe about their birthday being too close to Christmas for 20 years. :laugh3: Face it. We can't win.
 
Congrats Erik, I'm glad everything turned out well and your wife and baby are doing good. Maybe you can get her a big gift that covers both her Birthday and Christmas. It's possible, but not likely. That's what credit cards are for, it's the American way. :)

Know exactly what you went through, our first happened that way. Glad to hear Mom and baby are doing fine.
