Is Wyoming flat?

Just wondering if there are any trails in state. I've never heard our fellow XJ'ers say much about wheeling or trails in their fine state.

Western Wyoming is far from flat, and I am sure there are a good deal of trails from Pinedale north, including the Bighorns to the northeast (there is some interesting wheeling in the fairly deep aroyos in eastern wyoming/western nebraska too)... Wyoming had less of a gold rush than colorado, so there are fewer old mining access roads, and there also has been less timber industry, although there are some of both... while I have some family up there, I'm sure someone from the wheeling community will chime in with some more specific references.

There are no 'serious' trails up here - atleast not in SE Wyoming. There are decent trails in the Northern part of the state, and North Central.

Nothing close to CO though... :(

How about some trails in the Medicine Bow Mountains? BLM land?

If you follow the main street south out of Sheridan, in about 20 minutes you come to a sign that says 4 X 4 only in the Big Horns. We had some fun with the wife's 99 WJ. It looked like there were quite a few trails to explore in that area.

I grew up in Laramie and hunted/played in Medicine Bow. In the fall/spring you can find some mud and really bumpy stuff but I can't think of any place for some crawlin. Every time I go up there there's more fenced off.
