Is it a fun place to wheel? Is it worth the 3 hour drive from Knox?
Whats the park like? i saw thier website. the pictures dont show much.
Personal experiences? Yeh or neh?

Thanks
Mark

Yes
Maybe depending on the group and how long your going to stay.
Pretty good park
I've enjoyed it the times I've gone
Yeh, but if I was in Knoxville I'd just go to Windrock.

i was planning to group with a group maybe.. they wanted to know if it was worth the drive from Atlanta ..

IMHO woolys is not worth it.

Golden mountain FTW!

Ive been there once (Woolys) and that was enough. I wont go back. IMHO, its not worth a 3 min drive, much less a 3 hour drive. If I were you, I too would try out Golden Mountain. Its a fun place.

i personally like wooly's, and usually, i pay if i'm driving, and the people with me just stay in the jeep while i go pay. the people at wooly's are super nice, and there are quite a few fun trails. it is a little small, though. you can do every trail/obstacle there in just a couple days, so there isn't anything new when you go back. i really like the park, though, and it's pretty where the park is. i do like it more than wheelin in the country, because it usually isn't quite as muddy.

You have to do that at Windrock too.

Most private parks are that way. Just the nature of the business of operating a private offroad park.

ive been going to woolys since they opened new years 06. and it hasnt changed very much at all. the only changes i have seen were during there closure when they had to close all the good trails.
the owners are way cool though. Van will bend over backwards for you.

imo there are WAY better parks around. WITC being one of them. there quality of trails is WAY better and they are always doing trail maintenance and changing things up.
