Actually those welds look MUCH better than the URF Racing welds.

BTW, it needs some diamond plate between those tubes!

looks to me like it's "Trailblazer" approved. The tubing is stained with pizza sauce and there's evidence of greasy pizza stains on the garage floor.

Second thought, I know I've had a few sometimes, you really need to cut more sheet metal before starting the TUBE JOB!

I keep telling myself that I'm not going to tube/cage this cracked, warped POS I like to call a jeep, but I guess it may have already started. Damnit!

I looked at an 88XJ with a blown motor yesterday. I think I might be able to pick it up for $300-400. I'll probably buy it, and start fresh with a nice clean body. It would be nice to have doors and A/C again.............

Rick have you noticed added torsional rigidity with the rear boxed in like that?

I would think that such a mod might move the flexing stress of the body forward to where it might do even more damage (where the frame is mended and the door jams) but thats just my speculation.
