Is there such a thing as too much vertical seperation in a radius arm setup?

Putting my brackets on the 50 yesterday and today and I'm using the RE LCA brackets and making my own UCA brackets. Well with it all mocked up I'm looking at around 8.5 to 9" of vertical seperation. I think it will be fine, the LCA brackets are on the tubes just like on the D30 and the UCA mounts are right on top of the diff, but I want to make sure I'm not overlooking something I don't know about. Thanks

Too much vertical separation can get you into clearance problems at full compression, but otherwise it should not be a problem especially if you are matching stock dimensions. You can get away with a little less distance of you use stiffer urethane bushings or heims, up to a point, but these will transmit more vibrations to the passengers.

On a 2 link radius arm, it'll do nothing for your geometry so dont worry about it.

Cool deal, I would use less, but I can't physically use less unless I get rid of one of the uppers which I don't want to do for street purposes. I've got it all mocked up right now, now if I can just get a friend to come over to help me lift the axle off of my work table and sling it under the Jeep I can see if I'll have any clearance problems. Thanks guys.
