is it possable to place 6x9's in my rear doors

I got an 86 XJ and i want to know if there is anough room in my back doors to place some 6x9's and still be able roll down the windows??? thanks for the help...

No freakin way. The doors are too small as it is, making room for the rear wheelwell, and there's only about 2 inches of depth at the bottom, and only about 4 inches from the bottom of the window(Down) to the bottom of the door.

It is possible but you will have to box it out to make a 6x9 fit i have 6x9s all the way around in my 89 xj and tis pretty loud took some time... plywood....and some paint and it doesnt look great but I aint showing it off like its a show car its loud it pisses off the neighbors and it makes my ears ring. Its time and money to make it work but it is possible

Anything is possible when it comes to an audio system. It just depends on your wallet size. Flush mount 6x9's in the rear door-no. Make a custom door panel outta fiberglass that will hold your 6x9- yeeeees.

Fiberglass... Its a jeep If you have an 80's jeep and you have a "pimped out" stereo system...its kinda stupid. use some peices of plywood box it out put some fabric on them. now u got 6x9s and its loud.. with enough work and effort they can look sweet. And not have to be fiberglassed which I wouldnt try doing myself. And wouldnt want to pay that much to have someone do it

why dont u just put them in the back. i put mine in speaker boxes in thwe back and there still loud and sound good. pretty cheap to.

I agree with dellstopjeep just put them in the way back. I completly forgot about that. If you are in need of boxes pm me I have four just laying around in my room
