Have a pre-97 XJ, with stock front bumper...Trying to keep things looking as stock as possible, so I was wondering...

Anybody know how much trimming of the valence is necessary?

According to the instructions, it should be much. You are going to lose some ground clearance though.

Not a matter of money. I want to maintain the original look I remember from when I was a kid riding around in my Dad's Cherokee.

I installed this on my XJ because I didn't have any recovery point on the front. I just used a dremel and windowed the lower valance. It looked factory this way.
