Hey guys, the names Brandon and im staying in the lower/downriver area of michigan. Just finally switched over to the red side and thought i would introduce myself. Im 21 and work as a Honda Mechanic (yea i know Honda, but its pays the bills for now). I used to own a 96 zj but the trans and rear end went out on me, and now i got my xj. It's a 2000 that i've only had for a year, i wish i had pics of it still when i first got it but somehow managed to lose the camera ha. When i first bought it off a buddy it had a RC 1.5" spacer and aal lift with some lame chrome running boards.
Well i took the running boards off and put on a 3" RC lift with full leafs on, then picked up some OR-FAB bumpers, a set of 31 goodyear duratracs and 15" steelies.
Then shortly after i painted the grill black and wired up some kc daylighters i had.
Then after that i installed some H.I.D.'s, put in a 1" spacer back in the front to level the suspension out, threw on a set of the bushwacker flat flares that i ordered, put on some jks quick discos and a new rc adjustable track bar.
Unfortunatly i dont have many pics yet of the xj but heres a few, most of them are just the jeep sitting cuz my buddy that went with me has all the wheelin pics of his camera. The first few are when we went to Ogemaw Trails in Rose City, MI in early Aug 2010. Dont mind my buddy in the first pic.
And this last one was unfortunatly the only pic i have from our trip to Ambrose Trail, Rose City Mi in late Aug 2010.
I only managed to do alittle wheeling this year but next year i plan on fixing my front two floor pans (rusted threw on me last month), lifting it another 2", 33's, regear the front and rear axles and locked (d30,8.25), a sye and cv driveshaft, IRO cat-back exhaust and beefing up the steering (gearbox and all). If anybody stays in lower/ downriver Michigan, im always down for some wheelin trips.
