Thanks Zuki Ron, I feel alot better about the tranny hearing it from someone whose had one. When I get a job I will be upgrading the H E double hockey sticks out of it. I knew about the off camber driving with the carb. Im not a huge fan of driving off camber. I have wondered if there was a larger cam that I could drop in it. Also thought about a port and polish. But for that kind of money I could put just about anything in it. Unless there is a thread on how-to p&p. Ps thanks for the new welcomes.

Its alright as long as they are havin fun. Finally found some funds. Gonna grab a decent battery and then run it down to have the tires re-mounted and stemmed. Hopefully my old boss will let me use the tire machine. I could use 4 good tires. Its got 3 wrangler RTS and one who-knows. But if a remount and balance will make due for winter then on to the tranny issues. Will also work on getting some pics of the turd. Also need to name her still....Maybe we can work on that after the pics.

Well hopefully all of my money woes will be solved here real soon and I can start working on 2-point-hate. Got a call from Paypal for an interview. Also have a possible job with TD Ameritrade lined up too. Shall see which is better and take that one. Finally!!!!

I Thought I could use facebook to host my pics. I dont know if you guys will be able to see them. I had to have the both drivers tires remounted, due to beads broke loose. Also went out and bought a reconditioned battery from Nebraska battery here in Omaha. 27 buck with core and 2 year warranty. 20 to my buddy for mounting and balancing the tires. $247.00 in the whole truck. Not bad so far. Need to get some door hinges. Prolly should replace all of them. Any ideas about the crap hinges? As cheaply as possible. I didnt get either job so im still on a very tight budget.

Well the 12 inches of snow and blizzard like conditions got the jeep out of the garage. We needed to get supplies and a movie. The 4wheel worked great. I am proud of my XJ. 1986 was a good year.

I have thought heavily about it. I want to keep it carbed for now. I would like a stock 250hp 350 long block. Also would like a 700r4 to put behind that. Then grab a S-dime T-case. Plus engine and tranny mounts are not cheap by any means.
