Interesting rear suspension mod.....

I just picked up a FSJ Waggy that is heavily modded. This is what the rear shackle mounts consist of:

The drop arm has urethane bushings at each end (basically a small version of the typical 3" lift XJ LCA) and as you can see, it locks in place for street driving.

The Waggy is junk, I'm taking the nifty built axles from it..... wonder if I should torch these out and try to fit 'em to the XJ or pass 'em on to another FSJ guy...... They seem well built.

Kinda like a 3/4 elliptical. Interesting.

how beefy is the locking pin? that would be my only concern

Its the samething as a revolver shackle.....just lockable for the street. Will still unload in off camber situations. Good for rampin', not so good for trail.
