interchangeable parts from a 98 grand cherokee

I have an 89 xj 4.0. I came across someone parting out a 98 grand cherokee 4.0. Will the brake booster, rear wiper motor, and rear hatch struts work on my 89xj? What else should I be interested in? Thanks Guys

Take the motor/trans/t-case,if its a 4.0 it should have the 231 t-case.Not sure about the trans but IIRC(my son had one) its an aw4.

93 would be the only year you might find an AW4 in a ZJ.

Maybe the starter. If your XJ were 91 and up, the alternator might be a nice upgrade, but no go with yours because you need a built in regulator. I'd at least look hard at the steering gear too. If you can get hold of the rear wiper motor and it's good, I'd take it even if it isn't the same. With a bit of creativity you can shoehorn an alien motor into yours. My 87 had a Subaru rear wiper for years. A block of wood here, a screw there....

Seats-Not without major surgery. Back seat, no way.
Engine-With mods, OK (all your Renix parts)
Tranny-No way, not as good, needs its own computer anyway. AW4 in some '93s
Transfer Case-Most likely a 242, or Quadra Drive (or whatever)-run from this. 242 is
doable, but watch spline counts.
Rear Discs-Grab 'em, and read the many threads on conversion.
Wheels-The only 'bolt on' part! if they're not all corroded after 13 years.
