Installing a mech temp guage

Anyone know the best place to install the 1/4 NPT sender for a mechanical temperature guage on a '99? The t-stat housing is already used by the factory sensor.

you may be able to get a brass fitting from a good autoparts or hardware store to screw into the factory temp sensor location to hook up both your mechanical sensor and the factory sensor there... thats what i did on my '96
