Installed a compass/auto dimming mirror

Out of an 08 Subbie, a friend gave it to me for free as he works at a local dealership and this mirror was swapped out for a home-link unit. Total cost $0.

how was it to get it wired in?

here is mine. from a newer suburban. positive wire, neg. wire, and temp sensor wires. Sensor went behind the grill by my driver headlight. yes its dirty I had just finished installing it. Its cleaner now...

I wanted a mirror with a temp. display, but the one I got was free so I couldn't say no. I'm jealous though, oh and does it dim?
