Input on Tallahassee Alabama

I am looking at a long term contract in Tallahassee Alabama. It is a real small town but I came from a small town. Is there anything I should know about the area? Any wheeling. I may drive my rig down and fly back every couple of weeks.

Lots of wheeling in Alabama. There's a park not far from there called Great American park. Also several others (5) in the state. Most are 2+ hours north of you. But the gap is maybe 45 or so min.

I used to fly into Huntsville once a month to do a face to face report at JPL. Met up with a guy and used to go down to Lake Guntersville and do some bass fishing. Good times except for being caught on the lake in a bass boat with golfball sized hail and 6 foot waves.

I live about 10 mins from Lake Guntersville, great fishing and great hunting. I have lived all over this country(military) but I don't plan on leaving northern Alabama. It has everything that I want and need for my family and myself.
