Ok so i ordered the RC 4.5" lift and i cannot find anyone local to install it. I've had it sitting in my garage since november and am dying to install it. Is there anyone who would be willing to install it for a small price please im tired of looking at a 2" lift on my jeep.

This is one of those times I'd pick up the phone and call a brother/cousin/buddy/neighbor. You'll both learn from doing it yourself. Those kits come with good instructions and the tools you buy will be a small investment you will utilize your whole life.
Git R Done man!

its a 6 to 8 hour installation time.. rent a storage garage for a month. one of those big ones.. do it there.
im sure someone from Naxja lives near you would be delighted to do it!

Id love to help you out but your a little too far away...

id help ya out bud if i lived closer...i have lifted 4 xj's and it gets easier every time i do it..in fact im gonna lift mine another 4in this summer so i will have 7-8in of lift

True. I just thought that if the OP was that tired of looking at his lift he might want to try to tackle it himself.

They're not that hard to install but an extra set of hands does help. Sorry I'm not closer.

buy the pizza and the cokes... it ll bring em in!
or beer but with beer some bolts may be left out during the install .. lol

Normally I would jump right in here and lend a hand, as would a couple of the other members that I frequently work with. I put out a text to one of them but he and I are both slammed with work for the next few weeks. I had to put in a day off from work just to be able to help one friend of mine work on his Jeep, and another member on here work on his on the same day (going to attempt two APN header installs, along with a tstat and tcu swap all in one day coming up in 2 weeks).

If something comes up in the next few weeks I'll certainly see what I can do about helping you get that lift on. Believe me I wish we could do it this weekend..however College and work are ruling my life and probably will until May.

Same here, bring it up to Cary and I have everything needed to get it done in a day. Just don't show up without the pizza :) .
